Animal Caregiver

As a PITC Aminal Caregiver, you will be part of a team responsible for caring for our Daycare and Hotel guests (dogs). Key responsibilities include: ensuring all guests are entertained, happy, safe and healthy at all times, their play parks are spotlessly clean, and that every one of our “furry” guests leaves Pets In The City has had a wonderful experience.

Becoming a Pets In the City Animal Caregiver is the perfect way to start your dog industry career. We provide all caregivers with training in Canine Behaviour and Body language and ongoing support from team leaders and managers.
Receptionist

This active role includes meeting and greeting pets and their owners on check-in and departure, handling all telephone and email inquiries and bookings, daycare and grooming check-ins and check-outs, and actively promoting all products and services marketed by Pets In The City.

In addition, working closely with the facility Manager and the Team Leader, you will help coordinate the efficient and seamless running of the facility to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer care to all our customers.

Dog Groomer

In this demanding but gratifying role, you must be able to work unsupervised and demonstrate experience in all aspects of dog grooming (of all dog breeds). In addition, you will be a team player with a strong customer focus and be a great communicator, as direct customer contact is an essential part of this role.

Key responsibilities include ensuring all dogs are cared for, bathed, and groomed to an exceptionally high standard and that every “furry” customer departs Pets In The City Grooming having had a wonderful “Grooming Salon” experience.
Team Leader

As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day care of our Doggie Daycare and Hotel guests. Key responsibilities include ensuring all our guests are safe, happy and healthy and that the play parks and apartments are spotlessly clean. In this senior role, your ability to interact confidently and professionally with customers and management is also essential.

We very rarely advertise this role and usually recruit from within.
