About our dog training
Our trainers teach with kind methods. Puppies learn early skills like sit, come and walk on a loose lead. Adult dogs learn calm greetings, recall and good house rules. Group classes are small. One-to-one help is for shy or reactive dogs. Each step is short, fun and clear so your dog learns fast.
Benefits
- Force-free — kind methods only
- One-on-one sessions run during your dog's daycare day
- Help for shy, anxious or over-excited dogs
- Short, fun lessons that get real change
- Trainers who teach you the steps to use at home
Training programmes and pricing
- Puppy Development Programme — NZ$396. Early skills for young puppies: name response, settle, gentle handling and confidence around new dogs and people.
- Cool, Calm & Collected — NZ$444. For dogs who find the world a bit much: calm greetings, settling on cue and coping skills.
- Wicked Walks — NZ$444. Loose-lead walking so outings stop being a tug-of-war.
- Rocket Recall — NZ$444. A reliable, happy come-when-called, even around distractions.
How in-house training works
Our programmes run while your dog is at daycare, so training fits into a normal week. Each programme includes five one-on-one sessions with a trainer during daycare days, plus a private session with you so the new skills transfer home. You get progress notes after each session and simple homework you can do in a few minutes a day. Because the trainer already knows your dog from the daycare floor, sessions start from trust, not from scratch.
Where training happens
In-house training is available through all five Auckland centres, and Puppy Preschool group classes run at our Parnell centre, Central Bark. If you're not sure which programme fits your dog, ask the team at your local centre — they see your dog every visit and can recommend honestly.

What customers say
This training has been rewarding for both Blue and Mum and Dad. We've consistently seen an improvement and it has guided us how to keep the training ongoing with the weekly reporting tips.
Great training support for my little spoodle. He suddenly became anxious going into daycare after 3+ years. Some training sessions with Laura to boost his confidence and re-train his thought process has done wonders!
We put Brody through the Puppy Development training courses and after two 6-week courses I noticed a real difference in his behaviour. The training was well worth it.
