During their stay, it’s our mission to provide a comfortable and stress-free environment so your dog feels safe and happy. Put simply, we care for your pet with love and respect, as if they were our own.
Our dog hotel services are available at three convenient Auckland locations: Wairau Park, Silverdale, and Mt Wellington.
Doggy Daycare
When you book into our dog hotel, your dog joins the daycare dogs for a day of fun and games. At night they rest in their luxury apartment.
Room with a View
Our purpose-built apartments feature tempered glass doors to allow your dog to see what’s happening outside their room.
Clean and hygienic
We have high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety to ensure your pet has a healthy and comfortable space to holiday in while you’re away.
Comfortable
Each apartment is inside our main building, keeping it nice and warm. We provide raised beds, comfy bedding, and snuggly pillows. Each night your dog may find a small edible treat on their pillow.
Trained Staff
Our caregiver staff go through our two-part training programme to ensure they are fully prepared to care for your dog. We also have relationships with local vets who will look after your dog should they become unwell during their stay.

Pets In The City is your beloved pet's home away from home!
Your dog can play all day in our spacious play parks, enjoy a peaceful night's rest in a luxurious apartment and enjoy a delicious pamper bath or stylish groom at the end of their stay.
Security
We know safety and security are important to you. For your peace of mind, we have 24-hour CCTV cameras and external security companies checking on the building throughout the night.
On a typical night, we’ll tuck your dog up for the night between 6 pm and 7 pm, checking all our residents are settled before lights out.
I'm In! How do I get my Dog Booked in?
New Customer?
First, you need to complete our online application form at the following link:
After you submit the form, you will receive an email with instructions on how to book your Dog's assessment. This assessment must be done before confirming your Hotel Booking and will help us get to know them better and determine which play park and play group will best suit your Dog's needs.
Your Dog's First day!
On your Dog's first day with us, they will undergo a 90-minute Assessment with our Senior Caregiver. Your Dog will be monitored throughout the day to ensure they fit in and feel comfortable.
At the end of their first day, your Dog will leave with their Pets In The City Report, which will tell you about their first day! Of course, you can always check in and see how your furry friend is going with a phone call to our friendly reception team or check out the daily park antics on Facebook, where we post pictures daily of our visitors.
Once your Dog has completed an Assessment with the relevant PITC Branch, you can book your Dog into the Dog Hotel when you pick them up or through our online Portal. They are also welcome to attend daycare in the weeks leading up to the Hotel stay to help them get used to the new environment.
Existing Customer?
It is a Pets in the City requirement that your Dog must have visited (either used daycare or stayed in the Hotel) the Branch they intend to stay at at least once in the last three months. If it is more than three months between visits, we are required to reassess your fur baby. If you are unsure whether or not an Assessment is needed, please ring your local Branch for advice.
For existing customers, the best way to book your fur baby's stay is through our Owner Portal.
